St Kilda is the most remote part of the British Isles and is a mecca
for sea kayakers and scuba divers as well as those fascinated by their
natural and social history. This remarkable group of Outer Hebridean
islands has been awarded DUAL WORLD HERITAGE SITE status and is a 'MUST
SEE' wonder of the natural world. The St. Kilda archipelago lies
tantalisingly close to the Isle of North Uist, the nearest landmass. A
distance of 38 nautical miles separates us from St. Kilda yet these
islands have never been an easy place to visit.
Our 8.5 metre New Generation, commercial specification, Humber Offshore
RIB is powered by twin Yamaha 150 horsepower four stroke outboard
engines, and allows us to access the inaccessible. Estimated journey
time from North Uist to St. Kilda is 1.5 hours. You can get there
faster, but you'll need a helicopter!
Safety is always paramount and all voyages are weather dependent.
Uist Outdoor Centre provides both Scuba Diving and Sea Kayaking adventure activities in St. Kilda. See the links below for more information!
